New accuser says Cuomo inappropriately kissed her in her Greece, N.Y

Dozens rally near Cuomo's NYC office call for him to resign

Vill who lives in Greece, N.Y. says the encounter occurred after Gov. Cuomo went into her home to survey flood damage.

Sherry Vill, a 55-year old married mother of three, appeared with her lawyer, Gloria Allred, at a Monday afternoon Zoom press conference, claiming Governor Cuomo forcibly kissed her several years ago and had photo evidence. "I am still afraid of him, but I am no longer willing to remain silent".

Vill, whose house was among those damaged, invited Cuomo into her home and expressed dismay at its condition. He took my hand and said, 'Is there anything else you want?' I did not know how to respond. I felt very uneasy about the call.

"He said, 'That's what Italians do, kiss both cheeks, '" recalled Vill.

The governor has said before that "You can find hundreds of pictures of me kissing men, women".

The woman is reported to have said she was shocked when the Governor leaned in and kissed her cheek then kissed the other one.

Ana Liss, who previously served as Cuomo's policy and operations aide between 2013 and 2015, told the Wall Street Journal that during her time in his administration, the governor had subjected her to unsolicited advances, including touching her lower back, kissing her hand and quizzing her about her love life.

"I am a Democrat", Allred said in response to a question from Law&Crime about criticism of the women's allegations from the governor's supporters within the Democratic Party. "I never felt as uncomfortable as I did the day that Gov. Cuomo came to my home".

That voicemail contained an invitation for Vill to attend another press conference with Cuomo-this time without her husband.

"I felt like I was being manhandled", she recounted.

Sherry Vill says this kiss on the cheek from Gov. Andrew Cuomo in 2017 made her feel uncomfortable. "I felt he was acting in a highly flirtatious and inappropriate manner, especially in front of my family and neighbours".

Vill said she was intimidated by the governor and essentially froze during the incident due to their height differential. "There was nothing I could do". "His actions were very overly sexual, highly inappropriate and disrespectful to me and my family".

Debra Katz, the attorney for Cuomo accuser Charlotte Bennett, told Bloomberg that her client's descriptions of DeRosa and other high-ranking women in Cuomo's office align with a pattern she's found in her sexual harassment cases.

The governor has denied any wrongdoing in the nursing home scandal, as well. "2207520000" target="_blank">2017 Facebook post of the package.

Cuomo's office has not issued a statement addressing the latest round of allegations. The brief encounter allegedly also led to neighbors in town referring to Vill as "the governor's new girlfriend".

"It's not appropriate, really, in any setting", she said earlier this month.

NY state Attorney General Letitia James has named a team of outside lawyers to lead an investigation into accusations the governor harassed women through unwelcome, sexualized comments and inappropriate physical contact, including unsolicited kissing.

However, Allred said that at this time, she did not intend to reach out to the state Assembly about its own ongoing investigation, or file a civil suit against the governor.

A series of women, some of whom worked for Cuomo, have accused him of making inappropriate comments about their looks, giving them unwanted hugs or kisses, or making comments they interpreted as gauging their interest in an affair.
