A federal judge' ruled on 15 April ruling stopped the state from executing six of the inmates with a preliminary injunction handed down in response to a lawsuit filed by the inmates, who claimed the executions were unconstitutional due to their rapid pace and also the ineffectiveness of the anaesthetic Midazolam. Tad Cummins was arrested after more than a month on the run with 15-year-old Elizabeth Thomas, who was found safe with Cummins in a cabin in Cecilville, Calif. The Associated Press is not naming the girl or her family members because she is an alleged victim of a sex crime. The tornado first touched down 5.5 miles north of Red Bay at 3:31 p.m. Saturday before traveling 5.6 miles and lifting 11 minutes later. Most of the damage occurred in heavily forested area which is not accessible by vehicle. That event happened at approximately 5:40 p.m. near CR 1082 and CR 1055. South of Jones Chapel, several chicken houses were sustained tornado damage before it dissipated near the CR 991/992. (more...)
