Facebook Doesn't Allow Phone Number 'Look Up' Opt-Out

Facebook allows users to add phone numbers to their profile, but also encourages the use of a phone number for 2FA on their accounts. Numbers are also shared with WhatsApp, another Facebook property, the whistleblower said. But this being Facebook, they're not just going to do something that is only good for the user, are they? Now it seems, the use of phone numbers is being extended to help others find you on the network and Facebook won't allow you to stop it happening. The most you can now do is limit who can look you up with the phone number you provided to "Friends", but you can't hide it entirely. (more...)

At the launch event, Realme has announced to launch the Realme 3 Pro in the month of April this year. The back panel of the Realme 3 is equipped with a fingerprint sensor. As for colour options, the Realme 3 will be available in a Dynamic Black, Radiant Blue, and Black. Another major change is the notch design. Additionally, the Realme 3 flaunts a unibody build and has curved edges, while the Realme 2 had a blockier profile. (more...)

That's following on from a March 25 media event , where Apple will reportedly also reveal the iPad Mini 5 , a 7th generation iPad and the long-gestating AirPower charging mat. AirPods wireless charging will happen. The report does say that this could be a full-fledged AirPods 2 release date with new features or it could be a new model with wireless charging. (more...)

Some users have reported instances of a pop-up window that will inform you of the new feature, though that didn't happen in our experience. Head over to settings and enable the dark mode . Now give it a moment and you should see a pop-up on the top of the app saying that you have found dark mode . (more...)

It's similar to the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) of the US. Unlike the original Modern Warfare Remastered , this sequel only appears to be the game's campaign . (more...)

Global smartwatch sales reached 18 million in 2018 and if Apple sold half of this they would have sold 9 million smart watches past year. By 2023, Juniper Research estimates that 166 million smartwatches will be shipped. (more...)

Both OneWeb and SpaceX still have to prove that their satellites work and that their antennas can deliver data at the speeds and prices they have promised. OneWeb plans to begin launching more than 30 satellites at a time every month starting as early as September so its constellation is almost 25 percent complete by year-end, a person with direct knowledge of the project said.
