Darnold completed 21 of 26 passes against the Cardinal for 316 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions, reasserting himself as a top candidate for the Heisman Trophy. Burnley then took full advantage of their first genuine spell of pressure and possession as Arfield fired home a crisp finish from the edge of the box to put the visitors ahead largely against the run of play. The Astros (90-58) reached 90 wins for the first time since 2004. Seattle battled on Saturday. Despite a four-run eighth inning by Seattle, the Astros managed to hold them off for the 8-6 win. The Houston Astros jumped out to an early lead after a four-run output in the bottom of the second inning. Stros starter Dallas Keuchel improved to 13-4 with a run plated on four hits and two BB before Francisco Martes turned in an ugly performance with four runs given up without recording an out. Samuel opened up the game with an electrifying 68 yard touchdown reception on the very first play from scrimmage. More will be posted soon. Samuel was injured on a curl route late in the third quarter. We've got guys who can stretch the field and attack the middle. Snell did it again on the next drive, too, carrying it in one yard out of the direct snap into the end zone to cap an 11-play, 67-yard drive for Kentucky, which grabbed a 14-6 lead with 8:37 to go before the break. He scored on 27-yard run in the game's opening drive. Foster's catch and run came after Colorado State scored 10 straight points. Alabama coach Nick Saban said missed assignments and mistakes helped Colorado State out. The Tigers rolled up 560 yards in the win. After winning a 29-37 win against LA-Monroe in the season opener, the Tigers got their second game postponed due to hurricane Harvey. Wide receiver Anthony Miller was the main recipient as part of the high-powered aerial attack with nine catches for 185 yards and two scores. Mike Minor pitched the ninth inning for Kansas City and earned his first career save. If the team pulled that off, it would repeat the pattern the Kansas City Royals laid out in 2014-15.
