Worship services and community events remain suspended, although the latest order includes an exception for drive-thru events like festivals of light, drop-off toy drives and drive-thru events that are capped at 50 people who must be from the same household and remain in their cars. The linkup, the first using Harmony's upper port, capped a flawless 26-hour rendezvous that began with launch of the 21st SpaceX cargo mission Sunday from the Kennedy Space Center . SpaceX has been involved in resupplying the International Space Station since 2012. Once JAXA picked up the capsule on Sunday, scientists transferred it to a protective box and whisked it off to a nearby, temporary "clean room" site - all to ensure as little Earthbound air comes into contact with whatever's inside. More than 70 JAXA staff had been working in Woomera to prepare for the sample return. The pan-shaped capsule, about 40 centimeters (15 inches) in diameter, was found inside the planned landing area and retrieved by a helicopter team from JAXA. (more...)
