Australia experienced its hottest day ever recorded on Tuesday , and temperatures are expected to continue to spike as the country faces hundreds of bushfires that have caused extremely hazardous air conditions. According to Bom, Australia has warmed overall by just over 1C since 1910, with most of the heating occurring since 1950. Six people have died in the flames, which have destroyed 680 homes. (more...)
