Radar showed parts of the sprawling storm over six states, with North and SC in the bull's-eye. All that water is going to flow off the mountains into local rivers and we could see more scenes like the ones in Wilmington in the future. Officials say rivers in the area may not crest for several more days. This is "one of the most incredible machines we've ever launched into space ", ICESat-2 program scientist Tom Wagner said in a statement .
