Abrupt Link Between Hotter Temperature and Suicidal Rates Abrupt Link Between Hotter Temperature and Suicidal Rates
- July 26, 2018

The researchers concluded that temperature increases could lead to a 1.4 percent increase in suicides in the United States and a 2.3 percent increase in Mexico by 2050. Suicide rates rose in almost every U.S. state from 1999 to 2016, with the rate spiking by more than 30% in half of the country, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported in June. Life on Mars? Scientists discover underground 'lake' at south pole Life on Mars? Scientists discover underground 'lake' at south pole
- July 26, 2018

Located under a layer of Martian ice, the lake is about 20 kilometers (12 miles) wide, said the report led by Italian researchers in the United States journal Science . We've known for some time that Mars still has at least a little bit of water left, and that it flows from time to time as ice melts and reforms throughout the course of the planet's seasons. Life on Mars? Liquid water lake found on the Red Planet Life on Mars? Liquid water lake found on the Red Planet
- July 26, 2018

But there hasn't been evidence of stable bodies of water until now, the researchers said . Mars long ago was warmer and wetter, possessing significant bodies of water, as evidenced by dry lake beds and river valleys on its surface. Several researchers said it would be crucial to figure out whether this body of water is the only one, or part of an interconnecting body of underground aquifers - in part because a network increases the possibility it could have harbored life. Obama's plan would have required automakers to build cars that are increasingly more fuel efficient every few years until 2025. "And that's exactly what the EPA is proposing to do now". The state's 2009 waiver under the Clean Air Act has allowed California to set emissions rules for cars and trucks that are more stringent than the federal government's. (more...)
Scientists find lake of 'liquid water' on Mars
- July 26, 2018

From May of 2012 through December of 2015 the Mars Express radar mapped an area near the south pole of Mars. The Italian Space Agency (ISA) says it's found the first proof of water on Mars. The news is quite exciting for the prospects of life on the Red Planet, because water is essential for life. Pettinelli said an anomalous signature was first detected in Planum Australe as far back as 2008, but radar were inconsistent. (more...)
Scientists claim that Earth’s Moon may have once supported life Scientists claim that Earth’s Moon may have once supported life
- July 26, 2018

As it lines up with the Earth and sun, the rising full moon will darken and change from silver to rusty or terrible blood red. The researchers explain that conditions on the Moon's surface were adequate to support simple organisms after the Moon formed from a debris disk 4 billion years ago , and also during a peak in lunar volcanic activity which occurred around 3.5 billion years ago. Liquid Water Lake Has Been Detected On Mars
- July 25, 2018

No, not yet. We knew that Mars had the potential to support life under the surface but finding the evidence to prove it had always been hard. "The concept of liquid water somewhere on Mars leads one to believe that there may be an environment that would harbor extent life". (more...)

Like most vertical rockets, the New Shepard is created to take off upright from a launchpad at Blue Origin's facilities in West Texas. In May, the famous tech personality said that the ticket prices have not been decided yet. Three minutes after take-off, the company fired the crew capsule's emergency motor and saw the spacecraft soar to an altitude of roughly 74 miles (119 kilometers), well above the Karman line, or the widely accepted boundary of space, placed at 62 miles (100 ...
