Once the election was called for Biden and Harris, the transition team immediately began moving forward despite obstructions , announcing important Cabinet roles and Senior White House Staff. "To me, it's the highest compliment I can give any man or woman", Biden said in March as Buttigieg offered his endorsement. Meanwhile, the camera, LIDAR, and radar system provides a 270-degree field of view from all four corners of the robotaxi, which basically eliminates blind spots. (more...)

Royal LePage sees Canadian home prices rising 5.5% in 2021

Royal LePage, a Canadian real estate brokerage, predicts that property costs could rise by 5.5% next year, causing house and condo prices to increase even more than they did this year. Under Royal LePage's prediction, the median price of a two-storey home would rise to $890,100, while the average Canadian condo would cost $522,700. (more...)

But not prices which last Friday topped $US160 a tonne for the first time in 9 years and then fell on Monday after Chinese steel mills moaned about the rise and there were rumours of an "investigation" by the Chinese government - which is a laughable thought. India November retail inflation at 6.93% versus 7.61% in October

Primary articles' inflation moderated in November to 2.72% from 4.74% in October, led by a 13.2% decline in minerals prices and an 11.11% dip in crude petroleum and natural gas prices. Fuel and power inflation is at -9.87%, up by 0.2% month-on-month, compared to -10.95% in October 2020. This was the highest level of retail inflation since May 2014 when the inflation level was at 8.33 per cent. (more...)

Healthcare workers and elderly residents of long-term care homes will be first in line to get the inoculations of a two-dose regimen given about three weeks apart. Ontario also expects 35,000 to 85,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine to arrive, once approved by Health Canada. There were no passengers on board the aircraft but it was carrying dummies as well as payload belonging to NASA. The rocket motor ignited briefly and went out.
