Nvidia is reportedly in 'advanced talks' to acquire Arm Holdings

A Financial Times report claims that Nvidia is in talks to acquire chipset designer Arm from SoftBank in a deal valued at over $32 billion. According to The Verge, Nvidia would make an interesting owner for ARM. But the two companies have recently expanded their work together, with Nvidia a year ago unveiling a major move to support a new reference architecture and ecosystem support for GPU-accelerated Arm-based servers. The restrictions mean from 11.59pm Wednesday the only reason people in regional Victoria will be able to leave home is for shopping for food and essentials, care and caregiving, work and study, and daily exercise. The State of Disaster in Victoria, in place from 6pm on Sunday night, will exist in addition to the State of Emergency already in place, which gives police additional powers. (more...)

High-frequency economic indicators are pointing to a stall in the USA economic rebound as consumers hold back from activities like dining out and air travel. The vote to leave the federal funds target rate in a range of 0% to 0.25% was unanimous. The Fed said that over the coming months the Federal Reserve will increase its bond holdings "at least at the current pace". (more...)

As such, the T-Class may take some inspirations from elder sibling V-Class which is Mercedes' main workhorse in the MPV segment and offers a high level of comfort and a capable drive. (more...)

Inventories of crude oil in the USA dropped by 6.8 million barrels last week to 531 million barrels, data from industry group the American Petroleum Institute showed yesterday. "Despite the resilient and range-bound nature of oil pricing over recent weeks, plateauing global demand and increasing OPEC+ output raises the question of whether the market can absorb additional barrels", RBC Capital Markets said in a note. The $765m funding is the first action occurring under the president's executive order, which authors the International Development Finance Corp.
