Steely Dan's Donald Fagen is suing the estate of his late, longtime musical partner Walter Becker in an effort to maintain control of the group and its name, according to Rolling Stone and other media reports. Fagen is looking for $1 million in damages and is asking that the 1972 agreement be enforced. Should that judgement go through, Fagen would become the sole owner of the Steely Dan name and all of the rights that are associated with it. (more...)

On Nov. 6, the Saudi-led coalition announced the closure of all Yemeni air- and seaports after a ballistic missile - allegedly launched from Yemen by Houthi militiamen - was intercepted over Saudi capital Riyadh. The same source reported that one plane carrying personnel from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and a second plane from Russian Federation - carrying diplomats en route to Moscow's embassy in Sanaa - had both touched down at the airport on Wednesday. The Health District offers these tips to avoid the flu.
