Currently, there are 4,03,248 active cases, whereas 91,00,792 patients have been discharged so far. The number of daily recoveries outnumbered the new daily cases for the 9th consecutive day today. Highest deaths have been recorded from Maharashtra (95), Delhi (77), West Bengal (49), Kerala (32) and Haryana (25). A total of 482 case fatalities have been reported in a span of 24 hours. (more...)

Daniel Andrews welcomed the NSW's government commitment to an investigation as to how the travellers managed to travel from Sydney without having quarantined. Worldwide flights were diverted from Victoria in June after security guards at two quarantine hotels contracted COVID-19. Once Kentucky begins to receive vaccines, each dose administered will be logged in the statewide immunization registry, so the state can track who received which dose and how many vaccines are left. "This weekend, let's stay small and stay local, so we can slow the spread of the virus in our province", they said.
