Their decision is likely to intensify the focus on the U.S. This includes 100 million doses of the vaccine being developed by drugmaker AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford. The latest breakdown of the 3,656 deaths in Ontario from the virus shows 30 per cent in people aged 40 to 79 and 69 per cent in those over 80. Of the cases added Tuesday, 666 were found in people between the ages of 20 and 39. He said there was one false positive. Of today's new cases, most are confined to the Greater Toronto Area. Victoria now has no active cases of coronavirus as the state records a 31st consecutive day of no new cases. The state, which implemented widespread testing, mandatory masks and harsh stay home orders , accounts for over 90% of Australia's 907 deaths .
