The vaccine would foreseeably need two doses and that, if all goes well, in January there could be a regular supply. Pauses during clinical trials are common. There are two indigenous vaccines being developed by Zydus Cadila and Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research. Most vaccines take at least five years to go through clinical trials, and there have been questions around whether COVID-19 vaccines are being "rushed through". (more...)

"The flu vaccine absolutely-without a doubt-does not cause the flu".
