The school issued a brief statement saying that the executive committee of Liberty's board of trustees met Friday and requested that Falwell take leave. He didn't immediately return a call seeking comment. Last week, Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline signed a deal with the USA government to produce 100 million doses of a vaccine for about $10.50 each, according to calculations from analyst Mani Foroohar, of the brokerage firm SVB Leerink. They will also still need to obtain Health Canada regulatory approvals before being distributed to Canadians, she said.
