The number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in London and Middlesex County has gone up by five. In Canada as a whole, there are now 63,895 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and 4,280 deaths. The hardest-hit age group continues to be people over 80, with 1,035 deaths. Long-term care homes across the province have reported 1,111 deaths. In addition to at least 10 cases in New Jersey, there were at least 64 cases among pediatric patients in NY by Wednesday night, as confirmed by NY state health officials. One, a previously healthy 14-year-old boy, died of a stroke after being admitted. A few other USA children have been affected during the pandemic, including a 6-month-old infant in California diagnosed with COVID-19 and Kawasaki disease , a rare condition that causes swelling in blood vessels.
