COVID-19 tests are being rolled out across the UK. United Kingdom construction union Unite has welcomed the announcement that construction workers are now eligible for targeted Covid-19 testing . Last week, it closed temporarily following "exceptional demand" when key workers were first able to register. If you are successful in getting a coronavirus drive-through test, a swab of your nose and back of the throat will be taken. (more...)

It was not clear how long the bodies had been stored in the U-Hauls or whether any were Covid-19 victims. People in protective gear could later be seen transferring bodies into a larger, refrigerated truck after the funeral home was able to obtain one. (more...)

Once you include Northern Ireland and Scotland the figures are almost 25,000. Fears that doctors might be under-reporting coronavirus deaths are not supported by new data from the Care Quality Commission. Describing the horrific scenes, the 49-year-old doctor witnessed and told her father of the "onslaught" of patients dying before they could even reach the hospital from the ambulance. Breen, 71, reportedly said that his daughter did not have any history of mental illness; however, the late doctor contracted the coronavirus disease while treating the patients brought to the hospital.
