The General Assembly of the Spanish Podiatrist Council issued a statement about a new symptom they recently found.In a study by Spanish researchers, COVID-19 patients often found purple lesions, i.e. It assumed an incubation period - the time between exposure to infection and appearance of symptoms - of a little over five days. By their estimate, 44 per cent of secondary cases were infected during the pre-symptomatic stage, with infectiousness predicted to decrease quickly within seven days. (more...)

A new regulatory check-list for nursing homes is being put in place. Officials of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) will visit nursing homes to ensure they are complying with the items on the regulations. Two more people have died in NSW from COVID-19, including an elderly man who contracted the virus while on a cruise ship, Celebrity Eclipse.
