In a separate tweet, the Health Department reported that four of the 13 cases have been released from isolation and the remaining nine are being monitored at home. One of the cases is hospitalized. The B.C. Centre for Disease Control is reporting two additional COVID-19 deaths in the province in the past 24 hours. Island Health confirmed the death in hospital of a patient in their 80s. Three new test-positive cases were confirmed related to the outbreak among temporary foreign workers at Bylands Nursery in West Kelowna, bringing the total cases related to the outbreak to 26. At Pickaway, where three inmates have died from the coronavirus , 132 prisoners have now tested positive for the virus, compared to 74 on Tuesday. A spokeswoman said Wednesday's spike is partially a result of mass testing at the Marion Correctional Institution, the Pickaway Correctional institution in Orient and the Franklin Medical Center in Columbus.
