Her baby girl - also thought to be called Mary - was successfully delivered after an emergency caesarean section and is doing well, according to the hospital. Doctors chose to put her into a medically-induced coma so they could place her on a ventilator. She has been able to return home; though, Ava is still in the hospital as doctors are monitoring her eating. The amount of community and people that were praying for me is just unbelievable. It was touch and go for the new mother after delivery, but eventually, she was taken off the ventilator and started breathing on her. (more...)

The newly confirmed cases in Riley County include a 44 year old female, and a 20 year old male, both are in isolation at their residences. One-hundred-and-eleven people have tested negative for the virus in Clark County. The department reports that 61,795 tests have been administered across the state. There are now 2,390 people hospitalized in Pennsylvania with COVID-19 and 661 of those patients are on ventilators. (more...)

CanSino's vaccine is based on a genetically modified vaccine that he created to protect himself from Ebola. The partners expect to have a vaccine in clinical trials within the next few months and - assuming it proves effective and is cleared for use - together have the manufacturing capacity to produce hundreds of millions of doses.
