World Health Organization chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has expressed concerns that COVID-19 is 10 times more deadly than swine flu. "We're all learning all the time and adjusting our strategy, based on the latest available evidence". Since the virus emerged in China last December, it has spread to at least 185 countries and regions. Pointing out that in some countries cases are doubling every three to four days, Tedros said the disease accelerates fast but "decelerates much more slowly". (more...)

To date a total of 95 COVID 19 tests have been performed in Seward county with 6 being positive, 58 Negative, 26 results pending, 3 that were rejected by the KDHE and 2 outside Seward County that were positive. Dr. Amaal Tokars, executive director for Kendall County Health Department, had said that "in recovery" means the patient is free of any symptoms for 72 hours and does not need any medications to help mitigate any symptoms.
