"This is an especially trying time for all of us who are part of the Pinecrest community and we are all affected by this loss", Mary Carr said in a news release. Meanwhile, Hillsdale Terraces, a long-term care home in Oshawa, has reported six deaths among the 32 infected residents. There are at least 51 long-term care homes in Ontario with one or more cases of COVID-19, and there have been at least 69 deaths in those institutions.
