He was discharged to his home where he is in self-isolation. Both patients are now in self-isolation. "Toronto Public Health is actively engaged in contact tracing and case management". The Ministry of Health said COVID-19 is not circulating locally in Ontario and the risk to residents remains low, but "given the global circumstances", they are planning for the possibility of local spread. Etches also said as of Wednesday, tests in Ottawa can be sent to the local public health lab instead of being transported to Toronto. Both patients were in hospital and said to be in stable condition.
