The World Health Organization (WHO ) has reported that global measles cases have almost quadrupled in the first quarter of 2019 to 112,163 cases compared to the same period past year. April 12. The IDPH says the second infection was identified during the investigation into the first case of measles and the person has taken part in voluntarily confinement order at home. Measles symptoms include fever, runny nose, cough and a rash. Mayor Bill de Blasio announced the order on Tuesday, declaring mandatory vaccinations in Williamsburg, where 250 people have been infected since September. "They have been spreading risky misinformation based on fake science".
