Orange County Public Schools has announced that it will continue to keep schools closed through Thursday, due to the effects of Hurricane Irma. Power was restored to seven schools and offices on Tuesday that had been knocked out. Many schools served shelters before and after the storm. Nine Greenville County schools and the central 0ffice are still without power and district officials plan to meet this afternoon to discuss whether or not to call off classes for Wednesday. (more...)
