While the King County website says the man in his 50s is a "suspected case", the governor said in a news release it is a confirmed case of measles. Of the 31 cases in Clark County, 27 cases involve unimmunized people. The measles vaccine has been part of routine childhood shots for decades, and measles was declared eliminated in the U.S.in 2000.
