This story has been corrected to show the name of the victim is Robert Godwin Sr., not Goodwin. Before the shooting, he demanded Godwin say Joy Lane, the name of Stephens' ex-girlfriend. (more...)

Stephens had been on the run for almost 48 hours after posting grisly video on Facebook of himself shooting and killing 74-year-old Robert Godwin, Sr.at 695 East 93rd Street in Cleveland. Pennsylvania police have pulled data from his car's navigation system to trace his steps leading up to his death. In the video of the shooting, Stephens told Godwin the name of his girlfriend and said, "She's the reason that this is about to happen to you". (more...)

While there might be no definitive proof, researchers believe sugary drinks must be consumed cautiously and it makes more sense to opt for more healthy substitutes. However, they found that people who drank at least one diet soda per day were nearly three times as likely to develop stroke and dementia. The researcher added that he was surprised to learn that consumption of sugary drinks was not associated with either the risks of stroke or dementia because they were known to be unhealthy. (more...)

Saturday night was the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of " Dog Years ", in New York City which stars Burt Reynolds . The US actor, 81, at times struggled to walk but was helped by Robert De Niro as he attended the screening in NY. Reynolds was joined on the carpet by his " Dog Years " co-star Chevy Chase, whose shirt was for some reason drenched in water, and actor Robert De Niro, who started the film festival. (more...)

As part of the new restrictions, the FDA said it is requiring several prescription label changes. Now the Food and Drug Administration says children under 12 should not be given prescription medicines containing the drugs. Aside from kids under age 12, the FDA also advise against giving codeine to breastfeeding mothers and teenagers (12 to 18 years old) if they are obese or are suffering from either obstructive sleep apnea or severe lung disease, which can further intensify the risks of ...
