The Rohingya are considered stateless people as the Myanmar government through an amendment in its 1982 Citizenship law revoked nationality and citizenship of the Muslim minority group consisting of roughly 1 million people. We waited all night after we were pushed backed by Bangladesh border guards last night. The US Pacific Command said it had detected three launches, two of which failed in flight, while a third one appeared to have blown up nearly immediately. South Korea and USA armed forces are conducing their annual joint drills, called Ulchi Freedom Guardian (UFG), in Korea. The reported failure of the latest short-range missiles suggested that Pyongyang may have been trialling new technology or using up old weaponry, Lee said. (more...)

On Saturday morning, Segovia noticed a bag of Otis' dog food was gone from his porch, so Segovia drove around the neighborhood to look for the missing dog. Otis, a German shepherd mix, strolled out of his home and into viral fame on Friday as Hurricane Harvey tore through his native Texas. McConnell's agenda does not include it. Trump's boondoggle is not a priority for the Senate Majority Leader, and not just because it's a ridiculous vanity project that would be utterly ineffective and the costs of which would be ludicrous. The new measures took effect immediately.
