In the introduction to the book, Clinton writes, "In the past, for reasons I try to explain, I've often felt I had to be careful in public, like I was up on a wire without a net". As it is, Trump adds to the ordeal she has endured in "a lifetime of hard men trying to throw [her] off". It is far too early to render a serious judgment on the Clinton book before it is formally released and the totality of the case she makes can be fully assessed. (more...)

The parents, out of Lake Tahoe, reported their daughters were missing. Authorities say the girls were at the Symbiosis event and they stayed longer than originally planned. They were concerned, since they have not checked in since Sunday, Ryan said. The two sisters were attending the 35,000-person Symbiosis festival in the Ochoco National Forest near Prineville. Earlier this year, the Utah Legislature passed a resolution asking that the president rescind both location's statuses as monuments. At one point, Bohanan heard a search helicopter and tried to wave it down, but the canopy of trees blocked him from view, Kloster said.
