Two women died as a magnitude-5.1 natural disaster hit Leyte today (Wednesday, August 23). Last month, a magnitude 6.5 quake rocked Ormoc and other parts of Leyte causing damage to various infrastructure. 23 (BNA): A magnitude 5.1 quake early today jolted Albuera and Leyte towns in the Philippine Republic. The quake, which was felt at intensity 5 in Ormoc, Leyte, damaged at least 56 houses in Barangay Altavista, in the city, along with several establishments. (more...)
