August 16. Conway, Arkansas, police are seeking help identifying the theives responsible for yanking out the ATM and driving away with it. The heist occurred in the wee hours of Wednesday morning. Police say a bank employee noticed damage to the drive-in area when she arrived at work later that morning. Police said they believe the caper was done by people who work in the construction industry, though no suspects have yet been reported. (more...)

China wants India to withdraw its troops from Doklam before the two sides open talks. Hua Chunying, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson, called India's reasons to stop Chinese road building in Doklam area as "ridiculous".
