South Korea and the United States are scheduled to begin an annual joint military exercise Monday, the Ulchi Freedom Guardian, and North Korea is warning that the exercise could turn into a reality. He was the 6th Prime Minister of India, serving from 1984 to 1989. At least 700 people have died in the floods related to the annual monsoon in India, Nepal and Bangladesh, and over a million have had to flee the rising waters, authorities said Sunday . Poor people, mostly farmers, were the chief victims and many took refuge on roadsides and embankments. In India's worst hit Bihar state, the death toll reached 153 following one of the deadliest floods to hit the region since 2008. (more...)

The news organization noted that just eight people were arrested out of the tens of thousands who gathered in the city. Tow truck driver Juan Martinez said he saw Lerma's auto weaving in an out of traffic, almost hitting four cars, and immediately called police. She was then given two breathalyzer tests, registering a blood-alcohol content of.200 and.187.
