Fox News host Jeanine Pirro smeared Black Lives Matter activist DeRay Mckesson by claiming he directed violence against a Baton Rouge police officer in 2016, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday. A Baton Rouge police officer had sued Black Lives Matter and Mckesson over an injury he'd sustained in that protest, but a federal judge ruled that the movement couldn't be sued and cited a lack of evidence that Mckesson had engaged in the alleged activities. Saudi Arabia is lifting a decades-old ban on cinemas and will allow both men and women in the audience - but media commentators don't expect to see couples sitting together watching steamy thrillers any time soon.
