Considering Lambeth Palace has been the residence of the archbishop of Canterbury, the Church of England's most senior cleric, for almost 800 years, it is little surprise the remains date back as far as the 17th century. One of the coffins has a gold mitre on top of it. According to the Telegraph , the church's records show that the three remaining archbishops could be Frederick Cornwallis, Matthew Hutton, and Thomas Tenison. (more...)

Israeli Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan vowed that authorities would not negotiate with the prisoners and said Barghouti had been placed in solitary confinement in another prison. Barghouti wrote that Israeli prisons have become the "cradle of a lasting movement for Palestinian self-determination".
