He has been absent from Holyrood for the past two weeks because of a chest infection. Scottish Labour will have a new leader on Saturday when the victor of the leadership race between Richard Leonard and Anas Sarwar will be announced. (more...)

Multiple federal agencies, including the FBI and U.S. Her body was found in her auto at a Honolulu shopping mall, but she had been shot and repeatedly stabbed. Authorities said the shooting occurred around 8 a.m.in Rancho Tehama , near Red Bluff, Calif., about 120 miles northwest of Sacramento . Police say the gunman fired into the school from outside its grounds. Enloe Medical Center said it had four patients from the shooting - one adult and three children. The cops were present at the spot and the emergency department have airlifted "multiple students" from the scene, with a 6-year-old reportedly among the injured. (more...)
