Soon, the guards informed the Railway authorities in Lucknow about the suspicious object and the train was stopped in Amethi . The object was kept in a packet and was assumed to be a bomb. Meanwhile, the train has been evacuated and a search is being carried out inside all the coaches. He was an A+++ category militant and had a 15 lac bounty on his head. (more...)

The U.S. National Hurricane Center says Franklin's maximum sustained winds later decreased to near 70 miles per hour with additional weakening expected. While the Atlantic has produced six named storms, these have been short lived, weak cyclones, nearly all of which were minimal tropical storms. El Nino is an ocean warming trend that typically reduces hurricanes in the Atlantic, Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea but boosts storms in the eastern Pacific. (more...)

Ceuta has become a magnet for African migrants hoping to reach Spain as it has the EU's only land border with Africa. Police said he had pushed the emergency button twice but got no response. Isaak Komisarchik had been missing since July 5.
