The assault began on Sunday evening with a vehicle bomb detonated at the entrance to the prison, and there were numerous other blasts heard as the ISIS gunmen opened fire on security guards. The raid came a day after the country's intelligence agency announced the killing of a top IS commander near Jalalabad .
