Bangladesh, which is facing an unprecedented influx of Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar , plans to build new settlements to house about 4,00,000 refugees that entered the country over the past three weeks. Four days after her disappearance, investigators found Ziegert's body in a wooded area about four miles from where she disappeared. Her throat had been cut and she had multiple stab wounds. Police said, "on the evening of Wednesday, September 13, as a part of this effort, Massachusetts State Police troopers attempted to notify Schara about this process, but he was not home and information was left with someone at the home". An initial news release from the city of Hollywood said that three patients were found dead in the facility early Wednesday, while others were taken to the hospital and pronounced dead there. Officers are checking all of the other 42 assisted living facilities in Hollywood as a precaution, officials said. Police said they have obtained a search warrant for the Rehabilitation Center at Hollywood Hills, a facility that had a history of citations and poor inspections. (more...)

The officers returned gunfire. Authorities did not immediately release the names of those involved. OSBI reported the officers did fire back at the man before he escaped inside. The suspect subsequently barricaded himself inside the home before surrendering to authorities several hours later. That officer has since been mediflighted to an Oklahoma City hospital in critical condition. (more...)

I don't want to rule out anything. The house exploded and caught fire Wednesday. The blast engulfed the home in massive flames before leveling it. A woman whose body was found in the explosion wreckage on Stratton Way was the victim of "homicidal firearm trauma", the Dane County Medical Examiner said in a news release Sunday. (more...)

The body of a woman was located and a crime scene was established. Police are speaking with a man in his 20s. Gemma Ward and her husband David Letts purchased the property previous year and had been renting it out while living with his parents in Newport. (more...)
