On Monday 18 May, all children will be able to return to school, and on Thursday, 21 May, bars will be allowed to reopen. "As a team, we have formed a wall of protection for one another", Ardern said. Air New Zealand announced it would resume seven more domestic routes when the country enters alert level 2. On the $4 billion health pre-Budget announcement this morning, Ardern said we would never know when the next crisis would be but we needed to ensure we were prepared for it. (more...)

Forecasters at AccuWeather are expecting 14 to 18 tropical storms during this upcoming Atlantic hurricane season. A storm has to have winds of at least 39 miles per hour to be considered a tropical or subtropical storm and get a name. (more...)
