Three lions, four tigers test positive for Covid-19 at Bronx Zoo

The four-year-old Malayan tiger , named Nadia, was tested after it started showing signs of illness on March 27, 11 days after the zoo closed to the public because of the virus. The cats are the first pets in the U.S.to test positive , according to McClatchy News. After the tiger was found to be infected, the Central Zoo Authority in India had sounded a red alert for all zoological parks and told them to collect testing samples of animals on a fortnightly basis.
