The United Nations Security Council adopted its ninth resolution for additional sanctions on Tuesday morning, following the rogue nation's latest nuclear test on September 6. Chinese Ambassador Liu Jieyi urged North Korea to "take seriously the expectations and the will of the global community", but he also warned members that the crisis "must be resolved peacefully", reiterating its urge for all countries to keep a cool head and avoid rhetoric that could escalate the situation, a possible ... The state's unemployment rate ticked down in August and MA added an estimated 10,800 jobs last month, the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development announced Thursday. The statewide unemployment rate was 5.4 percent in August 2016. The following industries gained jobs in August: trade, transportation and utilities (up 3,200), manufacturing (up 800), professional and business services (up 800), government (up 800), information (up 500) and financial activities (up 200).
