The West African nation is now recovering from recent mudslides in the capital that killed several hundred people. The Department of State received notification under Section 243 (d) of the Immigration and Nationality Act from the Department of Homeland Security for Eritrea, Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Cambodia. Reuters quoted diplomatic sources as suggesting that there could be a hold-up of a week in the talks for an event in the UK's "domestic political calendar". Juncker vowed that the European Union "will move forward once Britain leaves", saying that " Brexit is not everything". Many EU regulations may need adjusting as they are transferred, and the bill proposes the broad use of existing "Henry VIII powers" that allow ministers to amend legislation without full parliamentary scrutiny.
