John William "Bill" King, 44, was put to death by lethal injection and pronounced dead at 7:08 p.m. (0008 GMT Thursday) at the state's death chamber in Huntsville. "From the time of indictment through his trial, Mr. King maintained his absolute innocence, claiming that he had left his co-defendants and Mr. Byrd sometime prior to his death and was not present at the scene of his murder". In 12 states, citizens of the US lose their right to vote indefinitely after committing certain crimes. When they get out of jail, I believe they certainly should have the right to vote. Andrew Cuomo are warning the proposal is unsound. According to the Sentencing Project , an estimated 6.1 million people were disenfranchised as of 2016 due to felony convictions, with individuals who have completed their sentences making up more than half of that population. Andrew Freund Sr . told dispatchers during a 911 call that he last saw his son when he put him to bed around 9:30 p.m. April 17 at the family home on Dole Avenue in Crystal Lake. When authorities were unable to locate the child and determined that he was not kidnapped, authorities began focusing their attention on the family's home, they said in the statement. (more...)

Some 96 per cent of councillors said the Brexit deadlock damaged the party. "It will take a strong leader to dredge it out of the mud".
