In an interview with The Times newspaper, heavily pregnant Shamima Begum , now 19, said she was exhausted of life on a battlefield and feared for her unborn child after two of her other children died. I last saw my two friends in June but I heard from other women only two weeks ago that the two were still alive in Baghuz. It's been very hard these past few years without her. (more...)

Police said Zoia threw two chairs and other items off the balcony and was charged with endangering life, mischief endangering property, and common nuisance in court Wednesday. Toronto police spokesperson David Hopkinson said on Monday he was "outraged" at the incident. Luckily, no one was hurt , despite the evident stupidity and blatant disregard for others that we see in this video. (more...)

After learning that several had been spotted in the Laikipia area of Kenya - the only area thought to have black leopards in all of Africa - he made a decision to investigate further and set up an expedition this January. They weren't sure whether the tracks they were following were those of the black leopard or a regular spotted one. The leopard's appearance is attributed to melanism - the development of the dark-coloured pigment melanin in the skin or hair of animals. (more...)
