The wife of a wealthy Norwegian businessman has been kidnapped, and those responsible are reportedly asking for the 9million Euro (10 million USD) ransom to be paid in privacy coin Monero (XMR). He owns 70 per cent of electricity company Elkraft which he co-founded in 1992, Norwegian media reported. There is no evidence Mrs Falkevik Hagen has been harmed since she disappeared, but officers have also not received any "proof of life", police said. (more...)

They weren't home at the time of the incident but said that their children were inside the home sleeping, they told KION-TV . "I started reviewing the videos, (and said to myself) 'Well, who the heck is this?'" Daniel Smith acknowledged that the administration's practice of keeping parks open but understaffed has become unsustainable at some sites. Other parks the group cleaned included Philadelphia's Independence Hall and the National Mall in Washington D.C. The agency said previously that it would seek to keep parks "as accessible as possible" during the funding lapse. (more...)
