Twenty-six firefighters responded to the blaze, which caused about $10,000 worth of damage to the attic and the second story of the house. It comes nearly a year to the day that an unnamed man from Tucson, Arizona, was suspected of using a propane torch to kill spiders and burn spiderwebs underneath his mobile home. (more...)

The Saudi public prosecutor said he was making the latest assessment on the basis of evidence supplied by Turkey , which has been the source of a series of grisly revelations about the government critic's death. "She said the Home Secretary is taking action against all suspects in the murder of Mr Khashoggi to prevent them entering the UK. Thursday's incident is the second tragedy resulting from flash-flooding near the Dead Sea this year. "[The floodwaters] swept away the students for 4 to 5 kilometers [2-3 miles]", Brig. "The students were on a school trip and it appears that a mudslide along the road swept their bus away", the official added. USA national security adviser John Bolton has confirmed that the U.S. will withdrawal from the landmark Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty (INF ) after meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin and senior Russian officials.
