OnePlus Band launch: Price in India, specs, feature, Amazon sale
OnePlus has ventured into a new product category in India by launching a fitness band.
Thie fitness band features a heart rate and SpO2 sensor for 24/7 heart rate tracking and blood oxygen monitoring respectively.
OnePlus Band price and availability The OnePlus Band has been launched at Rs 2,499 in India. Users can connect the band with a smartphone via the OnePlus Health app. The band also includes 13 exercise modes.
This is the first fitness band that the company will launch globally. Users can customize the appearance of the OnePlus Band by using different UI wallpapers. The new fitness band is created to counter Xiaomi's Mi Smart Band 5 and comes with a similar list of features.
OnePlus Band price in India has been set at Rs. 2,499. It is the same size as the Mi Band 5 display.
The OnePlus Band features a 1.1-inch AMOLED display with 126×294 pixels resolution. It comes with an array of sensors that includes a blood oxygen sensor, three-axis accelerometer and gyroscope, and an optical heart-rate sensor. Moreover, it is rated IP68 for 5ATM water-resistant and resist dust to some extent.
The listing also confirms that the OnePlus Band will come in three colour options with a dual-tone finish. Users can also control their music and camera shutter through the app. It will be available under an early access sale for Red Cable Club members, from 9am on January 12, exclusively via OnePlus.in and the OnePlus Store app. It is claimed to last up to 14 days on a single charge.
OnePlus Band also comes in dual colour straps. When it comes to health tracking modes, the OnePlus Band supports tracking activities like indoor and outdoor running, indoor and outdoor walking, indoor and outdoor cycling, elliptical trainer, row machine trainer, swimming, yoga, free training, badminton, and cricket. It will be available for everyone else the very next day, i.e 13th January, via Amazon India, Flipkart, the OnePlus Store app, and offline retailers. The fitness band can be charged using a USB-A wired charging dongle.
