"The rumors claimed that a 12.9" iPad Pro will become the first mini-LED device.
The next-gen iPad mini is expected to have a design that's similar to the iPad Air 2019 model, as well as a bigger screen and a narrower frame that's similar to the 2019 iPad Air. Apple's factory CAD images for its next-generation iPad Pro models were leaked!

Next-gen Apple iPad Pro renders are out and it might be disappointing for many
The hottest iPad Pro models have been released in the 1st half of 2020.
Also said is that there will be quad speakers on the sides, along with a magnetic strip that will be used to charge the second generation Apple Pencil. On the rear, there's the same dual rear camera setup with LED flash (though there are rumours this could protrude slightly less), a LiDAR sensor and microphone, with magnetic pins also on hand to connect to Apple's keyboard.
The device will continue to feature a Touch ID Home button and a Lightning port, with Apple declining to transition to USB-C. The dock allows you to orient the iPad vertically or horizontally and also allows you to connect to a wide range of other accessories including HDMI and a 3.5mm audio jack.
This could suggest that Apple is saving the iPad mini redesign for when it plans to switch to new display technology, but in light of last year's release of the 11-inch iPad Air, that seems unlikely.
