On January 22, 2021, Kensington Palace unveiled a new video on its Instagram account: a clip highlighting excerpts from a video conference between the Duchess of Cambridge and nurses mobilized in the face of the health crisis.
While the royal keeps her hair transformations rather subtle, they are impossible to miss.
Kate praised Vasu Lingappa for going the "extra mile" and shared a lighter moment with the NHS worker who joked the patient's wife had wanted him to sing the rock group's hits - but he declined because of his strong Asian accent.
"We are nurses working in critical care for 30 years, 35 years, 40 years - so there is nothing they haven't seen, but this is unprecedented", he said.
And she said that kind of thing came intuitively. "It's the things that are not part of the training ... but the things that come from your heart, and I think that's what matters so much now: these acts of kindness to the patients you're looking after". And, according to royal expert Duncan Larcombe, Queen Elizabeth likely has even more up her sleeve for the couple's landmark celebration this year-especially due to their tight bond. For her virtual meeting with the nurses, the Duchess has opted for a more strict look than her usual feminine and colorful outfits. Unfortunately, their plans were derailed when Kate's last living grandparent, her grandpa Peter, passed away on November 2.

"I love this look!" exclaimed another.
"Kate and the Queen have a fantastic relationship", Duncan said of the pair. "Nine years ago today-thank you for all your lovely messages on The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding anniversary!"
"You should make straight hair your signature hairstyle".
