BC health officials announce 465 new COVID-19 cases

There are 4,326 active cases in the province with 343 people being treated in hospital, including 68 in intensive care.

OHA said the average daily number of vaccinations has been a little over 12,000 for the past week.

There are now 187 active cases in the island region, including 14 people in hospital and five people in critical care, according to Island Health.

Oregon's 1,808th COVID-19 death is a 65-year-old woman in Washington County who tested positive on January 4 and died on January 17 at Oregon Health & Science University Hospital. More than 55,099 people who tested positive have recovered.
